Silky Smooth Garlic Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (cubed)
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed) or substitute 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
  2. Once butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese.
  3. When butter and cream cheese are mixed well together, add the cup of half and half, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and a dash of pepper on top. Stir frequently and mix well.
  4. Once the ingredients have combined into a reasonably smooth consistency, remove from heat.
  5. Sauce will thicken so continue to stir occasionally.
  6. Serve hot over your favorite pasta
